Line Crossing
Line crossing allows you to add a line or lines on a specific camera that should not be crossed. If a set line is crossed you can have the NVR begin recording, send an alert or even sound an alarm. Line crossing is ideal for fence detection, property monitoring and parking areas that should not be entered. Looking at the example video you can see the individual turns red the moment he crosses the defined line.
Missing Object Detection /Un-attended Baggage detection
The Missing Object Detection function available on some of our security cameras is a video analytics tool that capably monitors and oversees valuable items. When only using video based motion detection, a camera cannot verify when an object has been taken. Missing Object Detection recognizes when an item has been removed and stays missing from the camera’s field of view for a specified period of time.
Heat Maps
Video analytics offered by some security cameras has application beyond security and safety. Heat Mapping is a Smart Detection function offered in some of our high-end network camera products. It is a video analytics tool to provide a graphic overlay in the form of a heat map displaying the area and frequency of motion detected in the video captured by a camera. .
Number plate Recognition
Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR; see also other names below) is a technology that uses optical character recognition on images to read vehicle registration plates to create vehicle location data. It can use existing closed-circuit television, road-rule enforcement cameras, or cameras specifically designed for the task..
Object Identification
In the light of increasing crime and terror rate globally, automated video surveillance is the need of the hour. Surveillance along with the detection and tracking has become extremely important. Human detection and tracking is ideal, but the random nature of human movement makes it extremely difficult to track and classify as suspicious activities. The primary objective of this is to detect the suspiciously abandoned object recorded by the closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV). .
